For those of you wondering whether or not you were going to see more of a certain someone in Shane’s police academy on “Weeds” moving forward this season following an initial appearance, we now have some good news for you — you definitely will.
According to a new report from Deadline, Daniele Watts — who played the character on the popular Showtime series — is going to be booked for at least even more episodes for the season, which will bring her total to eight. It will be interesting to see how much this character could end up evolving into a love interest for Shane, who is fresh off of a pretty intense storyline (at least for a comedy) that featured him placing Nancy’s shooter in Tim under arrest.
For those of you wondering just what else is coming up or the show’s eighth and final season outside of this, the promo below (which does contain some strong language to the surprise of no one) gives you at least a minor taste. Now that she is committed to undergoing a major life change when it comes to the family business, Nancy seems to be free of some of the stress that once plagued her. Of course, we still have to wonder just how long that is going to last in a family like this, especially when she still has so much baggage that she is forced to contend with from her days as a suburban dealer. No mater how hard you may try, the past is still something it is pretty hard to escape from.
