‘Glee’: notes on Lea Michele, Dianna Agron (video)

Lea’s not in ‘Funny Girl.’

There are a few stories currently circulating through the “Glee” universe — and surprisingly, each one has to do with something pertaining to a subject other than TV.

First, we have the new report concerning whether or not Lea Michele is going to be reviving “Funny Girl” on Broadway in the role made famous by Barbra Streisand. While a number of people out there may want to see it happen, there is one thing we now know for sure — it’s not.¬†Instead, producers behind the revival are looking instead to someone else with a specific TV connection — former “Six Feet Under” actress Lauren Ambrose.

While it would have been nice to see Lea back on the stage that first made her famous before Rachel Berry, she certainly has other major plans before her — including shooting the third season of the show following the summer tour.

Speaking of this tour, series star Dianna Agron made an appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” Monday night to put on her best “promotion” hat. While there, though, one of the main topics of conversation was actually Agron’s tendency to get her nose broken through no fault of her own.
