We have already seen Emily Thorne play (and lose) the game of love on “Revenge” — are we about to see the same sort of thing happen when it comes to Madeleine Stowe’s Victoria? Even though it is still not clear whether or not she survives the dangerous plane crash at the end of last season. we have a feeling that producers would not be crazy enough to let go of one of their greatest characters.
According to a new report from TV Guide, producers for the hit ABC show are currently looking to cast the role of a good-looking doctor in his late thirties, and he is also going to be someone who looks after a recovery center. While it may be a little early to officially peg him as a love interest to Victoria or anyone else, we do have to remember that ABC is a network that holds handsome doctors up to the highest standard imaginable.
In addition to this new character, we are also going to meet during season 2 someone by the name of Eve, who is Ashley’s protegee and also someone more than interested in finding out how to plan the perfect Hamptons party. Based on this description alone, it looks like the coastal New York community is still going to play some sort of important role in the show despite talk of a move to the Big Apple.
The first season of “Revenge” ended up becoming both a critical and commercial smash for the network, even to the point where they had enough confidence to give it the coveted Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern timeslot following “Once Upon a Time” and beore “666 Park Avenue.” However, we must also say that given the adult nature of this show and the creepy content of the network’s new drama, wouldn’t it be better suited or both shows if “Revenge” aired at 10? Then again, we’re not the ones programming the schedule.
Do you think that Victoria is going to live to see another day? We want to hear from you below! Also, be sure to check out some more of our recent “Revenge” scoop over at this link.
