To answer your question, I was very cool with the Old Town Ink win. Despite Oliver’s problems with the full-back face, I thought it was interesting that they went for a 3-quarter view rather than symmetry. And the dragon was very interesting, if so “French” according to Chris that it was hard to read. It did look Japanese, and that was a brave move, and Kate and Matt did go very heavy-handed and stylized in both of their pieces. The big loss though was Basilica, because why the heck would you do two pinups for the finale challenge? That was not a smart move, and neither had good anatomy.
