The ending was poorly executed in my opinion.
didn't they sell the company? did they buy it back or just annul the contract which probably meant a hefty penalty fine?
you can't sell a company and then take it back.
and why did anderson want to get back? he and he's brother hold the money and power. they could have sent spencer packing and go on with the stadium.
none of that is explained and the sudden last minute change was awkward.

I still don't understand the Candace back story, assuming there is one. Are we supposed to conclude that her character is just selfish and greedy and an "old white guy" wannabe? why does she really hate Spencer so much? is it that he was getting in the way of her "golden parachute" or is it meant to be personal? I was left puzzled by their tension. The threads of real life running through the show do make it interesting, I was dissappointed that the rich white guys won after all but I guess that is more realistic and also helped to frame Spencer as someone who hasn't quite lost himself while reminding the audience that things like family and soul are worth fighting for. On the other hand, most of the women on this show are simply unbearable -- either mindless hos or ruthless corporate hos.
