One week ago, we wrote about what looked to be the latest attempt by “The Bachelorette” creator Mike Fleiss to take down the man known as “Reality Steve” after spoiling so much of the last several seasons — however, nothing really came out of it beyond some entertaining messages on Twitter. Steve (whose real name is Steve Carbone) claimed that he had no idea just what Fleiss was talking about in insinuating that he had violated a recent settlement agreement, and said that Fleiss is simply on a journey to try and grasp at straws to figure out some way to land him in hot water again.
Based on some new comments from Fleiss, however, it appears as though is indeed far from over. In a new series of posts on Twitter, the executive producer started things off again by saying that something big was coming — though he did so without saying Steve’s name:
Later, he followed this message up with an insinuation that there could be heavy legal fees coming:
“Time to start begging for money… U might want to get a guitar and learn some Cat Stevens.”
The last time Steve and “The Bachelor” franchise squared off in court, he used a “Donate” button on his website in order to help pay for legal fees. While it in part worked, it did not work out well enough that he ended up making all of the money back that he had to pour out. Ultimately, the goal by Fleiss and the show seems to be in part to break Steve’s bank to the point where he really can’t afford to keep spoiling the show — but considering the way in which the blogger has stuck around so far and continued to dish on the outcome of Emily’s season, it is probably going to take more than that to shut him down.
