‘Anger Management’ star Charlie Sheen says goodbye to Twitter

Just over a year after he first joined Twitter — and in turn gained followers faster than just about every person in human history — Charlie Sheen has now goodbye to the social-media account (and his millions upon millions of followers) almost out of the blue

So what was the “Anger Management” star’s final post on the social-networking site? Really, it was a rather simple goodbye despite having an image attached that looks to be a bottle of hot sauce attached to an airplane:

“reach for the stars everyone.
dogspeed cadre.
c out.”

┬áSo why did Sheen end up getting rid of the account? We have to guess that it was simply a desire for him to get a greater grasp on privacy in his life. He never had an account online during his peak with “Two and a Half Men,” and it didn’t really seem to help much when it came to promoting his new series on FX. As a matter of fact, “Anger Management” ended up losing more than half of its viewers within the span of two weeks. (You can read up about this story over at this link.)

We have a feeling that we will still hear from Sheen, though, in the event that his comedy does manage to get picked up for an addition 90 episodes as per his agreement with the network if it meets a certain ratings threshold. At the moment, it’s a little bit of a toss-up as for whether or not this will actually happen. He has hinted in the past that “Anger Management” may be his swan song when it comes to TV roles, and with all of the money he has in the bank now thanks to his past work he could live comfortably (even with child support payments) by living under the radar and being a family man.

Are you surprised that Charlie ditched his Twitter?
