First she was victimized from her mother and father and then from whatever this group was that held her and tormented her.
I got a strange impression during one flashback that she and Maddie were used for all kinds of fun and games. Weren’t they being hunted at one point…and what about this guy with the mask? Was she being brainwashed?

The fact that she was present when Maddie was killed would explain her DNA if everyone else was wearing gloves.
