On Monday night, the men are not going to be the only people “telling all” on “The Bachelorette” — as a matter of fact, Kalon McMahon is going to find out yet again what happens when he crosses Emily Maynard.
When prompted to do so after Emily enters the room in the video below (provided by “Good Morning America”), the most controversial contestant of the season — who was booted after referring to Emily’s daughter Ricki as “baggage” — tells her that he is sorry for the way in which he chose to describe his daughter on TV. He said that he hopes she is happy, and that he is looking at the entire show as a learning experience for his own future.
How does Emily respond to this? Basically, by tearing Kalon a new one. She tells him that he should be a politician, since the entire apology he gave was just “full of [you-know-what]” and designed to make him look better after the show put him in an extremely negative light. Was Kalon being sincere when he made the apology? It’s hard to really know for sure, but we can hardly be surprised that Emily chose to act out about it the way that she did once you consider just how he tried to embarrass Ricki on national TV. We have a feeling that Kalon could have come back during this episode the most apologetic guy in the world, and Emily still understandably wouldn’t have bought it so she could protect her family.
What do you think about the way in which Emily handled Kalon in this clip — do you think she did the right thing in continuing to stand up for Ricki, or would it have been a better move to just say that she forgives Kalon and move on?
