My wish is forever. Nothing against chris, but everything against ManHell. If he HAS to return, i hope for MAYBE a three ep arc where he comes back during the last ep of 3a. 3b he returns healed & comes to collect his legion ring, maybe helps against reign, and then promptly leaves again. Either for his own spin off with the Legion group, or just…away. I want no more of him on the show. This Monel is a disservice to the comic book character who was a GENIUNE good guy. He was never a fratboy slaver misogynistic a***ole. I don’t know whose idea it was to write him that way, but this character is NOT MonEl.

So yeah, I think his journey will be separate from Earth. It would also give real DC Universe fans something to look forward to, if they are going to introduce the Legion.

I don’t know if Supergirl will be joining the Legion on the show, it would be nice though to see the show shadow the comic books a little.

I’m thinking this could be a test run for the Legion, if they’re popular, they may expand the Berlanti universe even more (It already seems the CW should be called DCTV).

In reply to Tess del Carmen. Do you think they might show his journey separate from Earth until he returns? I am also wondering if they are going to expand Supergirl's world by having her work off Earth with Mon-El and The Legion some. Kind of like Superman would do in the comics.

I love this article. Nicely done, Matt.

I am hoping they will not bring him back right away, but still show us what he is going through while he is away. I think it would be cool to be able to continue to watch his journey while longing for the reunion.

Realistically, I think they will keep it a complete mystery until they bring him back and I think that will happen in episode 2 or 3. The cross over feels like a great place to bring him back, but that is a long way away. Last year the cross over started during ep. 8 that aired at the end of November. As much as I love the thought, I would be in agony (but it would not detract me from following the other storylines).

I do believe he will have his own set of new friends. At least, I hope he is off doing what I believe he is doing and they are going to introduce The Legion into the mix. Either way, I’m here for the ride!!

I give it 3-4 episodes at most.It’s CW.No way they are gonna keep him away from Kara more than that.It’s not possible lol.

I am not counting out amnesia here though.That’s every writer’s favorite trope.The Mon El that comes back to Earth might not be the one who left.

My guess is…he’ll be a regular, but have a new set of friends. He’ll also meet a new girl with the same initials as Supergirl. He’ll reunite with Kara mid-season in to help fight the World Killer(s).

In S2′ s last episode, Super girl gave him a necklace that will keep him safe.
