While two hour premieres and finales for Outlander are unlikely, it would be wonderful to have them with 11 one hour shows in between. Starz would be wise to seriously consider this. Chances are it would increase their subscribership by thrilling their current fans who would continuing to pass the word and enticing new viewers with a two hour "movie" instead of a one hour episode.

Janet you are so right about the extended "Faith" scene. They should have kept it in. It was so beautiful, emotional. They have a habit of doing that with Jamie's scenes.

A two-hour premiere doesn't seem likely, but occasionally, when the episode warranted it, Starz did permit episodes to exceed the usual 1 hour timeslot. After watching some of the deleted scenes on the DVDs (notably the longer scene with Jamie at the end of "Faith"), I really hope they allow scenes like that to be shown, even if the episode should run an hour and five minutes or so. I'm just so happy they're starting the season earlier than the 24th. The end of Droughtlander is in sight!
