In reply to Joann Foss. I think they wanted to do a little more with Ken ideally, but it just wasn't able to happen. I would've wanted a little bit more; hopefully, there's still a way for it to happen.

I think it is really rotten how Topher’s death was little talked about. It should of been an entire episode of what happened to him. Barely mentioning that Topher was dead made me angry! It was shocking to hear that Topher was dead. What???? NBC did a piss poor job letting the audience know what happened to him. I didn’t know Ken Leung was leaving so he could be on another show called Inhumans. Why? Was he offered more money? What kind of accident was he to have died from on Night Shift? I didn’t hear any of that. You still need to make an episode about Topher’s untimely death.Leaving the audience wondering what Topher was gonna do now that he was fired from the hospital. NBC did a piss poor job on how they handled Topher’s death…….

I really wish that they didn’t kill him off , just in case he might want to return at a later date , it’s always good to be a wishful thinker !
