To be fair the show is Supergirl, not Agent Danvers. And Mon-El is Kara’s boyfriend. So the boyfriend of the lead character will naturally get more screen time than the girlfriend of a supporting character.
Just like we see more Felicity than we do Lyla on Arrow.
