Would allow them to continue the series, but with a summer theme as well. Extending that idea, each week could be on different type of ship (i.e. destroyer, aircraft carrier, submarine, etc.) with a different ensemble on each ship. They could have one of the main characters from the regular shows make a guest appearance each week to bring a bit of continuity. Just thinking – and adding to your thoughts.
