Why isn't Ross taking care of Agatha himself? He is the head of the Poldark family. Agatha should be his responsibility, not Elizabeth and George's. Even if the old bat wanted to stay at Trenwith, it was Ross' responsibility to take care of her. What on earth was Winston Graham thinking?

And that opening scene with Elizabeth on the runaway horse? What the hell was that? One, it was not in the novel. And two, the idea that George didn't make an effort to stop Elizabeth's horse, while she was heavily pregnant made no damn sense whatsoever. This entire scene came off as another one of Debbie Horsfield's ridiculous fantasies.
