Maroon 5 singer, Adam Levine may be undecided when it comes to marriage, but one thing’s for certain this rock star would love to have children in the future.

Levine let it slip during an interview on Wednesday that he’d love to have kids, but not for a while yet.  Adam had this to say;

“I want to start having kids, yeah, [But] not for seven or eight years! I’d love to be maybe considering the idea of having a family. And at [42], I’d love to have maybe a 2-year-old.”

Even though Adam is clearly into the idea of having children, it doesn’t mean that there has to be wedding bells to go along with fatherhood.

Levine said; “I don’t think that you necessarily have to be married to have children… Marriage is a controversial thing, clearly. I find that in a lot of ways, it doesn’t work. Then in some ways, it does. I’m inspired by certain marriages. I’m uninspired by others.”

Adam is currently in a relationship with Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna and who knows, maybe she will end up being his baby’s mama.
