For our second edition of “American Idol” notes on this fine Independence Day, we have a pair of videos to share — and also a rather painful photo courtesy of one Kelly Clarkson.
Adam performs with Queen again – For his second show with Queen on Tuesday, Adam Lambert was in Moscow performing for what was ultimately a gigantic mob of fans. The past two shows on this mini-tour with the legendary rock band have had some of the biggest crowds that Adam has ever performed for, and he seems to be relishing in the experience.
As a matter of fact, Adam said on his Twitter account after the show was that he especially appreciated seeing the crowd for the show mostly contain people who were there to rock out:
“2nights crowd: I didn’t see a sea of folks holding up their phones filming the show. I saw beautiful faces enjoying music.
Is it wrong to go to a show only to record it? We see it both ways. Without fans kind enough to do so, we wouldn’t have videos like the one below to share — however, from the standpoint of the artist it must be harder to be enthused about a crowd that is built up mostly of cell phones versus smiling faces.
A present from Kris Allen – If you want to celebrate the 4th with Kris Allen, just check out his moving forward below of “Out Alive” along with the classic patriotic song “America the Beautiful.” In case you are wondering who the other guitarist is, it’s none other than Kris’ frequent performance pal Cale Mills.
Be sure to tune in for the full video here, as there is a surprise near the end that you may not see coming.
In a post on her Twitter page, Kelly used the following caption to describe what happened:
“Sprained my foot and have a hairline fracture but the show must go on people ha! Thank you @ashes2lashes”
While it’s sad that Kelly is not feeling 100%, the good news with her is that you know that you are going to get a great show from her regardless. Kelly has performed a variety of gigs this summer, even while also preparing for her ABC reality show.
As always, stay tuned for more of the latest “American Idol” news!
