It’s not exactly shocking to see one of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” involved in a bit of drama — though this story is still a new one when it comes to the sort of things that Brandi Glanville typically makes headlines for.
Glanville first started up the controversy by posting the following message on her Twitter account recently while attending a movie that was interrupted at the famed Los Angeles shopping district known as The Grove:
“Some dumb— just jumped off the 2nd story (sic) of the Grove parking structure … If you’re going to try and ruin my movie at least go to the top floor.”
Unfortunately for Glanville, it was revealed not long after she first posted this message that the man who jumped ended up dying. After getting trashed on Twitter relentlessly for her remark, she published what many could see as an apology, even though she also later commented that taking your own life is one of the most selfish acts that a person can do:
“Oh man the guy at the grove that jumped didn’t make it. I feel bad, it’s awful, condolences to his family. I wish I hadn’t joked about it.”
The most interesting part about this controversy is that Brandi was so quick to state her opinion on this man at the Grove just months after wrapping a season of her Bravo reality show where the death of Russell Armstrong by similar means was featured front and center. During the reunion special, she accused Russell’s widow Taylor of exploiting his passing by talking about her relationship with him so candidly in a book — which is something that she claims she would never do.
What do you think not just about Brandi’s comments, but the way in which that she chose to respond to some of the criticism online? Be sure to check out some of our other “Real Housewives” stories, and share your thoughts by leaving a comment below.
