I think you are correct that the “Netflix” generation would rather wait for the entire season to be available than to wait an entire week between episodes. However, I also think there is some backlash toward Bob Odenkirk who has gotten very political in this election and post election season. Alienating 1/2 the television audience has cost him and unfortunately the show. Many people commenting stated they were done with the series after some of his outbursts on twitter and in the press.
