The fact is that Walter can never be normal, but he knew that long time ago. He wanted Paige to teach him basics. So he found a reason to “fire” her, and tried to help as much as he could. She should respect him for everything hes done for her and Ralph for past few years. Try to put yourself in his position, how would you feel if you need to work with a guy you love endlessly, and you know that he said he loves you but that was lie to help you only.. God your an idiot she isn’t enraged about the money or the job. They are a family not just a professional team and he just essentially kicked her out of the family. Also her son relies on the team for help in understanding himself and he was taken that away from the Ralphs. She doesn’t think she’s boss there just knows exactly what he’s kicking her out of instead of simply telling her her job has been completed. If this needs to be explained to you and you can’t see it on your own especially in a setting that is specifically designed to allow you to see this, then you must be as emotionally stunted as Walter.
