For the final destination on “The Bachelorette” this season, the remaining three men in Jef Holm, Sean Lowe, and Arie Luyendyk Jr. are each going to try and win Emily Maynard’s heart in one of the most romantic islands in all of the Caribbean — Curacao, which may be a place that not everyone is familiar with. The island contains a number of Dutch influences, which may explain why it looks to be surprisingly European in the preview clip below despite being surrounded by tropical waters and sandy beaches.
As for what happens here in the island, much of it is shrouded in mystery other than the fact that we are going to see some major romance. Emily seems to have genuinely fallen in love with all three of the guys, and at this point it is one of the most competitive final threes that we have ever seen on this show. Only one of them is going to be able to propose in the end, though, and by the end of this episode (at least if tradition holds) the final three is going to become the final two.
So who is the current favorite? Based on the tear-jerker of a letter that he wrote during the hometown dates, we have to give it to Jef — though if we are basing this on pure chemistry that has been there since the very beginning, then you have to look in the direction of Arie. Sean is the safest choice of the three in terms of his background, but he also does not exactly pop off of the screen like the other two guys he is in contention with — even though his prank during the hometown dates was pretty funny.
