Despite him being a pretty major player on the last two seasons of “Dexter,” the story for Desmond Harrington’s character of Quinn on the show has remained a little bit of a mystery for most of us watching the season 7 filming pass by. Thankfully, we’re now getting at least a few more details about what is going to be coming up for one of Miami Metro’s most complicated detectives.
Speaking once again to TV Guide, executive producer Sara Colleton shared a few details about how Deb’s ex-flame could have his hands full courtesy of the club investigation that is the crux of the season 7 storyline, specifically in that he has past connections to some of the characters:
“When the Miami Metro has to investigate the killing of a fellow police officer, it leads them to one of Isaac’s (Ray Stevenson) clubs that George (Jason Gedrick) manages … Quinn knows George from his days in narcotics because, along with it being a driving nightclub stripper business, it’s also a place where the Ukrainian mob laundered a lot of money and passed its drugs and guns and all sort of things. So everyone’s plot is thickening.”
So how is Quinn going to be able to use this knowledge? If nothing else, he at least has an understanding of how the Ukrainian mob operates within the city, and he could end up getting some information that no one else can. Considering that he has also, though, struggled at times when it comes to his own money problems, we are afraid that he is somehow getting to get himself mixed up in this for all of the wrong reasons.
