Remember how Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino had a less-than-stellar birthday last year on “Jersey Shore“? Based on everything that we are hearing this time around, it’s possible that he is going to have a much better time in Seaside Heights.
There are celebrations of sorts planned for both Mike along with Pauly D this week, and the cast has also had a sort of bonfire celebration on the beach. According to Wetpaint, this was meant more as a way to say goodbye than a celebration for any of the individual stars. Pauly invited some of his “Pauly D Project” pals down for the bash, and hopefully this will also give us an opportunity to see some of the other recurring people that we’ve come to know and love on the show over the years (including Snooki’s pal Ryder and The Situation’s sister Melissa).
Filming for season 6 may be done as early as the end of the week, and with that we could even be saying goodbye to the world of “Jersey Shore” as we know it. By the time fall rolls around, Snooki is going to be a mother for the first time, and most of the cast members are going to be moving forward in committed relationships. There’s no guarantee that there will be another season of the show after this one, and if there is it could end up being a reboot with all-new cast members versus one that carries with it such a hefty financial investment.
Are you hoping to see a much happier birthday bash for The Situation this year, and do you think it’s possible for an entire season of “Jersey Shore” to air without any major drama from the guy? Be sure to leave a comment and tell us what you think.
