If you watched Sunday night’s episode of “True Blood,” then you are already well aware that there has been a bit of a change in the relationship between Sookie and Alcide — mostly in that they got drunk and did what pretty much every character on this show does at some point or another. Now, the real question is just is just whether or not this one-night stand is going to turn into a long-term romance.
While it may be a little early for us to be able to definitively answer this question, we can at least say based on the promo video below that these two are not done when it comes to their romantic exploits. In addition to that, the werewolf and the mind-reader are also going to receive a visit from Eric and Bill — who are both there to warn Sookie about what Alcide has already warned her about in Russell Edgington’s return. The stakes are raised for these two, mostly due to the fact that Salome is threatening to kill them if they don’t make substantial progress in finding Russell within the next 24 hours.
Of course, this promo also contains some moments from our crew of supporting characters — Terry continues to be held at gunpoint, Tara tries to figure out her place in the vampire world, and something is going to seriously freak Lafayette out. Wouldn’t it be the fact that he tried to kill Sookie when he channeled the bizarre sort of evil spirit that Jesus’ Abuelo put in him?
Do you think Alcide and Sookie are a good match for a long-term relationship, or is this the same sort of flash-in-the-pan romance that we saw from Sookie and Eric last season? To view our review of this past week’s episode, be sure to head on over to this link.
