Comic-Con 2012: ‘Big Bang Theory,’ ‘Fringe’ to get ‘Extra’ treatment

Just in case you were not excited enough to see some of your favorite TV stars at Comic-Con in San Diego in just over a week, we now have some more news that adds yet another layer of excitement to the mix.

In addition to their regularly-scheduled panels at the event (which you can find out more about over at this link), the casts of many popular Warner Bros. shows — including “The Big Bang Theory,” “Fringe,” and “The Vampire Diaries” — are going to be present for a special “Extra” event at the convention from July 12-14. You can check out more on the outdoor event here, and it is set to include interviews with select actors and actresses, exclusive performances from some up-and-coming music stars, and also some demos for upcoming video games. In other words, Warner Bros. has found a way to make Comic-Con even more of a party that it already is.

While the convention happens, be sure to check back here on a daily basis — we’re going to have all of the scoop for those who are unable to be in attendance, including spoilers from some upcoming seasons along with some funny moments worth talking about. All of the shows mentioned above are expected to return with new episodes this fall, and it’s possible that there may even be some new trailers or images showcased in front of the massive audiences that will be in attendance for the panel discussions.

Which one of these shows are you going to be the most excited about to see at Comic-Con this year? To read some more of the latest “Big Bang Theory” stories, be sure to head on over to this link.
