We know that “Once Upon a Time” is going to be heading to Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday, July 14, and now we have a look at what the producers behind the hit ABC show are doing to promote season 2 in terms of visuals.
The poster to the left was first uploaded over at TVLine, and it does a great job at featuring the new series regularsono the show in Meghan Ory (Red) and Emilie de Ravin (Belle). In case some of these images look familiar to you, it’s because they are — many of these shots of the characters have been superimposed from episodes of the show onto this background. In case you’re wondering why there isn’t an entirely new poster, it’s because the cast does not even go back to work in Vancouver for another two and a half weeks.
With Jennifer Morrison’s Emma front and center, the poster is at least effective in letting you know that despite breaking the curse during season 1 (which in turn led to the spread of magic throughout Storybrooke), our leading lady is still going to be front and center throughout the action in season 2. Hopefully executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will give us a better sense of what these characters are going to do next season at the Comic-Con panel, as they will be present along with everyone in the photo (save for Robert Carlyle, who was not on the official press release) to share scoop and talk about the experience filming season 1.
