It’s possible that it could given that the franchise is such a known name. I could see it shifting to a more lower-budget version similar to Amazing Race Canada on another network, but we’re not at that point just yet.

Now I hear CBS has renewed a bunch of shows this week, but Race is in limbo, again, before it even came out of last year’s limbo.

If CBS did let Amazing Race go, is there any chance of another network picking it up? Is that why CBS has treated other shows like that…The Mentalist and Person of Interest come to mind…where they take it off for almost a year and then rush out a few last episodes…so it devalues the show and the interest in it so no one else picks them up…? Just pondering.
