Sometimes, being in love and being on reality TV don’t mix — especially when your feelings are putting a major damper on your hopes to land a job at the end of a competition. After lack week’s episode of “The Glee Project” that turned out to be disastrous for him, somebody must have woken Charlie Lubeck up to this.
In a new preview for Tuesday night’s new episode (which is coming to us courtesy of TV Guide), you can see Charlie have a heart to heart with Aylin Bayramoglu about how they are going to move forward in the competition as friends. Charlie was publicly admonished by Nikki Anders last week for spending his time in the recording booth winking and flirting with Aylin the entire time — a move that helped to land him in the bottom three for the second straight week. This guy is running out of chances, and unless he manages to put away all of his distractions, he could be sent out the door next.
While we think that Charlie still would much rather be flirting with Aylin than not flirting with him, this was the best move for him to make. Aylin also seems happy with it, mostly because she probably doesn’t want to be blamed for furthering the distraction — especially since she has already said that she is on the show to win more so than finding a new boyfriend. (She attributes her attitude to a naturally flirty personality.)
Do you think this move is actually going to help Aylin and Charlie put their feelings on the back burner for the rest of the competition? If you want to see where these two contestants stand in our contestant rankings, head on over to the article!
