Despite some pretty obvious problems in her personal life, you have to give Katie Holmes some serious credit here for sticking to her commitments.
According to TMZ, the actress — who is right smack in the middle of a PR nightmare courtesy of a divorce filing from Tom Cruise — has agreed to still serve as a guest judge on “Project Runway All-Stars.” This gig was booked long before the divorce news ever hit the press, but conventional wisdom for many would be that she would opt not to do the gig in the middle of what could be a pretty painful time for her.
This is the second year in a row that Lifetime is doing an “All-Stars” version of their popular competition series, and it features a different host and judging panel even though the contestants are people that you have all seen in the past courtesy of other installments of the show. While we have a feeling that there are only so many times this show can air consecutively — mostly because they are going to run out of contestants who are good enough — it is another way for Lifetime to bring in some big-name guest stars like Holmes and bring some attention to a network that does not always get in the headlines. Some memorable past judges on the regular version of the show include Kim Kardashian, Adam Lambert, and current “Fashion Star” mentor Jessica Simpson.
