While we may still be waiting to find out more specific information pertaining to “Big Brother 14” this coming season (including the official cast reveal), we do at least have some more information when it comes to the upcoming show-related special on “The Talk” later this month.
In a post on Twitter, the daytime series — which of course shares a common bond with “Big Brother” in host Julie Chen — posted a message saying that their preview show this year is going to be on July 12. What is notable here is that this is the same exact date that the reality competition is officially starting up for viewers at home.
Are we a little surprised to see the preview show happening so late this year? Definitely, especially since “Big Brother” superfans are already going to be lining up their schedule to watch the premiere and the kick-off for the live feeds later in the night (the show aired a little bit earlier last year.) Nonetheless, “The Talk” special is must-see TV in our eyes, mostly thanks to last year the women all hilariously trying to evict Chen for her being too knowledgeable about the game. We also saw a hilarious side of Julie that goes against the “Chenbot” nickname that she has picked up due to her at-times robotic reading of the lines during the live eviction shows. It was yet again another reminder that she is integral to “Big Brother” being as successful as it is, since she is both in on the joke while at the same time preserving a bit of dignity in the process.
