Regardless of his numerous run-ins with certain members of the paparazzi, Alec Baldwin put all of his negative feelings towards the situation aside this weekend as he watched his beautiful bride, Hilaria Thomas, walk down the aisle towards their future.
The ’30 Rock’ star, 54, exchanged his “I do’s” with the 28 year old toga instructor on Saturday at the beautiful St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City. Reports from People Magazine say that the ceremony was a star studded event as celebrity guests like Woody Allen, Mariska Hargitay, Robert Kennedy Jr., Lorne Michaels, and his “30 Rock” co-star Tina Fey were all in attendance. St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral is famous in and of its self as it was used for the baptism scene in the Francis Ford Coppola film “The Godfather.”
Hilaria wore a gown designed by Amsale (who also dressed Thomas’ mother and Bladwin’s daughter) and Alec’s tuxedo was designed by fashion icon Tom Ford.
When their wedding day finally arrived, Hilaria couldn’t hold back her excitement about finally getting to marry the man of her dreams. She posted a message on Twitter that read: “Today is going to be a good day.” After she was married both she and Alec posted photos of their new wedding rings on their Twitter accounts.
Some people say that a massive difference in age can be a problem in a relationship (haters), and Alec and Hilaria have had to deal with their fair share of judgment pushed on them from other people who are uncomfortable with the thought of it, but this is now a clear case of “love conquers all” and we wish them a long and happy life together.
