Lots of people gave it a chance on steaming and on BBC One but dropped it. The sex scenes ( inappropriate for a teen series) and extreme gore (ditto) also turned a lot of people off. So it’s not a case of the streaming being an issue. The only bright spot in the series were the actors who were fine and the cameo by Capaldi. The rest, forget it. Either go R-rated like Torchwood or stay family friendly because this weird hybrid approach just didn’t resonate and I’ve spoken to many in the target demo for Class that hated it; it’s not a case of aging fans not getting it.
