The late Amy Winehouse was said to be working on some new music and that it could possibly be used in the James Bond franchise. Even though her first kick at the can for ‘Quantum of Solace’ didn’t pan out, it sounds like there is a possibility that one of her unreleased tracks could be included in the next Bond film.
An insider talked about the possibility of one of her songs being featured in the next Bond movie and had this to say;
“One of her songs used in the next film would be the perfect memorial to her – a way to remember Amy (as) we want her to be known for her talent and not her drugs addiction. [The tracks] were really a work in progress. [Amy] had laid down the vocals and had guitar and drums as an outline – it wouldn’t take much to tighten it up into a finished product.”
Chris Goodman has said that while there is “plenty” of unreleased material that Amy was working on, there has been no discussion concerning the release of any of her music at this time.
Fans everywhere would be ecstatic if they could hear some of the music Amy was working on before her untimely passing and a source said;
“She had put down the bare bones of tracks and some were further along than others. People were getting very excited, quite frankly they were really good. We heard rough cuts and they sounded like vintage Amy.”
A source at Island-Universal says that there is enough music laid for a possible 12 tracks to be put together for a CD release. How amazing would that be?
