We are not done talking about Comic-Con 2012 just yet — and following the news about “True Blood” and “Game of Thrones,” we now have the official word on two other genre shows in “Falling Skies” and “The Walking Dead.”
When it comes to the hit AMC drama series, the panel will be held on July 13 and will feature the likes of Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Norman Reedus, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, and some of the new series regulars Danai Gurira and David Morrissey. Source writer Robert Kirkman will be present, and showrunner Glen Mazzara will also be present. If you remember last year, it was right after the event that Frank Darabont was removed from his position.
Meanwhile, there will also be a panel for “Falling Skies” the same day that features Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Collin Cunningham, Sarah Carter, and Connor Jessup. This is actually the third year that the TNT show has been present, as they originally held a panel before the show’s launch as a way to build up some excitement in advance (and for Noah Wyle to show off his beard).
If we had to vote for a “most awesome day of Comic-Con” from what we have seen so far, Friday’s going to be a good candidate from a TV standpoint. After all, you have these two shows plus “Game of Thrones” and the “Firefly” reunion all in one day. Want coverage of all of them? Be sure to hang around the computer for the entirety of the convention — we’re going to have non-stop coverage including videos, news updates, and more from the show.
