This show was mostly a total disaster. It wasn't even the material. The performers were blowing lines left and right. It was like watching high school kids put on a show. The Sean Spicer bit was the one bright spot of basically what was a total mess. The cold open didn't seem that funny and could have been written better. Weekend update makes me think that someone needs to be fired. The host was screwing up lines left and right. The immigration bit was lacking. It just felt like there was a much funnier skit that could have been done around the topic. Again the spicer skit was really strong but the rest felt kinda flat and the performances were really off tonight.

Melissa Mccarthy's cameo was outrageously funny and unexpected. She channeled all her mean woman rage into the beleaguered press secretary. Definitely a show highlight!
