Thursday night’s edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” could have very well been titled “The Lady Gaga Show.” Not only did the singer stop by for a rather extensive (and funny) interview about everything from her costumes to her favorite Italian cuisine, but she also performed a set including two of her most recent hits — “You and I” alongside “The Edge of Glory.”
During the interview, Gaga showed herself as someone willing to fire jokes back at Jimmy as well as herself — saying that if she broke the “Gaga” sign she was wearing atop her head it could end up spelling something else entirely. She also talked about not having a driver’s license, and on one occasion she ended up taking her learner’s permit following the 2010 Grammys and going on a joyride in the greater Los Angeles area.
Before performing, Gaga also took part in something else that has been labeled in many ways as a “Kimmel” staple — a sketch. Gaga “produced” a fake commercial for a line of infant clothing entitled “Gaga GooGoo,” and it featured youngsters wearing everything from a fake meat dress to tiny versions of Kermit the Frog.
What did you think of Gaga’s appearance on Kimmel’s show?
