Yes, I very much want to see a Season 2. The acting is definitely award worthy (ie, Michelle Dockery, Juan Diego Botto, and a lot of the supporting cast). The dialogue is smart and impactful. The only problem is the story line has an unbelievable amount of holes, or loose ends. In other words, the writers take a lot of “poetic license” in each episode. However, this can easily be fixed in Season 2, by paying more attention to detail, and possibly hiring another writer(s) who is(are) more skilled in developing a cohesive narrative. I think this lack of cohesion will keep the show, and its actors, from getting the award recognition it/they deserve. This is really good TV and really skillful acting.

This show is award-worthy at every level. Many people are just now discovering the show, binge- watching past episodes and becoming addicted like the rest of us! This show, in my opinion, could be a big hit for TNT, but as you say, the odds were stacked against it this time. I really hope it gets another chance with a season 2.
