NBC’s ‘The Voice’ coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera share the love

Good news for Adam.

If there was any major concern that Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera were going to let their feud from “The Voice” spill over into the off-season, we now have our first major sign that the two are back on more positive ground. Also, the following story is proof that all it takes are a few words on Twitter to change up public perception.

Following the release of his band Maroon 5’s new album “Overexposed” on Tuesday, Aguilera took to her Twitter account to post the following message of endorsement:

“Congrats to @adamlevine & @maroon5 for their new album release today!!! XoXtina”

When Levine and Aguilera were not exactly on the best terms over his contestant Tony Lucca, it spilled out onto the stage and even gave part of the live shows an uncomfortable vibe. Many speculated that Lucca and Aguilera’s contestant Chris Mann placed third and fourth thanks to people tiring of the drama, and even Cee Lo Green admitted that the tension between the two was something that made the finale few weeks less enjoyable than it could have been. The irony here is that during the opening weeks of the season, everyone was desperate to claim that these two were dating — then, it quickly transformed to them supposedly hating each other.

In reality, the truth here about this “feud” is probably that it was never as serious as it was made out to be. Both coaches are extremely competitive, and Adam clearly took issue with the way in which his contestant was being treated. Now that the fighting is over, it’s all water under the bridge. This is especially good when you consider that “The Voice” will start shooting season 3 next month, and these two are going to be back around each other for long stretches of time.

Do you think that this simple message is good news for people auditioning who might have been worried about a feud carrying on into this season?
