Taylor Swift may only be 21 years old, but she is already receiving the honor of being the “Ultimate Choice” at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

The people behind the awards — which is set to air on Fox August 7 — formally announced on Thursday that Swift was going to receive the show’s top honor. Some of the past winners of this award include Justin Timberlake, Venus Williams, and Reese Witherspoon.

When it comes to being a star in her field along with a positive role model for teens, there really is no better choice here. Despite being the target of the tabloids a few times in addition to having such a high-profile career, Taylor is one of the few people out there that never has to deal with any sort of scandal. She really shows that you can have it all, and yet at the same time have the vulnerability that connects so easily with the fans.

Other people currently booked to appear at the TCAs include Justin Bieber, Cameron Diaz, and Tyra Banks. Do you think Taylor is an appropriate choice for this honor?
