It matters not where they fall together, both still fit like puzzle pieces in the bigger picture. The core mystery of the show is the blacklist, why Liz is so important to that list and why she’s so important to Red. Her importance, not solely based on their connection. With the premise of season four, what’s been given since season one, and what’s been written in Katarina’s journal, one should prepare themselves for this reveal.
