For those of you who are wandering around New Jersey looking for the location of the “Jersey Shore” cast on Wednesday, we now have some information for you — though we have a feeling that they will be long gone by the time you read this.
According to a local publication from Toms River, the cast is filming this afternoon at the Popcorn Park Zoo — a really wonderful establishment that helps care for injured, sick, or mistreated animals as they live out their lives in a more relaxed environment. We don’t know many other details at the moment — including how many cast members are actually present or what exactly they are doing at the zoo — but it is at least something different from the standard routine of GTL that we have seen for five seasons now.
Once we have additional verification on this scoop, we’ll have some more information here for you. There’s no guarantee that any footage filmed here would even make it to air, especially when there is so much else that the producers could choose to show (mostly people fighting at each other and dancing at Karma). Season 6 of “Jersey Shore” will likely premiere either in the fall or the winter on MTV.
In other news related to the show, you can check out a new sneak peek below from Thursday night’s new episode of “Snooki & JWoww” — which really just features Snooki acting over-protective about her unborn child when Roger mocks how short the kid is probably going to be.
