It would be nice if they did, but I have my doubts about that. After all, they couldn’t be bothered to say anything about Michael Weatherly’s departure until David let it slip in an overseas interview, and he gave them over a year’s notice.

It’s certainly possible it’ll happen, but I think CBS will want to announce it in advance to give a guy with his sort of career a proper tribute.

That rumor seems to have fallen by the wayside but it’s the only one that wouldn’t surprise me having a ribbon of truth. And I would be bummed, but it would make sense, both for Ducky and David. (Not that Mark isn’t getting a bit too old for his job too!)
