Yet another article completely out of touch with what is really going on.

It is clear from the semi Final that Saara is repeating the same trajectory as James Arthur in 2009 and now is the bookmakers favourite to win for a reason.

You do also realise that Finland has a population of just 5 million people, and that Saara Aalto has never been a household name there until now?

The vast majority of votes for Saara are coming for the same UK viewers that always vote for the act they think sings and performs best. On Saturday, that was 5am and Saara.

Where has Matt gone wrong? Song choices? Lack of variety? wanting it too much? Who knows. It could even be that he tried to erase his boy band past and con the public into thinking he was just a waiter who was now trying to get a break a singer! Narrative is everything with xfactor, but the public hate to be deceived.

So it doesnt suprise me one bit that the best vocalist by far, who has always been honest about her past is leading the pack and that a very likeable boy band, who may struggle sometimes with vocals, but match Saara for performance, variety and dancing are running up behind her. Matt and Emily just haven't been able to match that.
