Harrison Ford reunites with ‘Star Wars’ pal Chewbacca on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

Harrison Ford may have successfully moved on from “Star Wars” to appear in everything from the “Indiana Jones” series to “Air Force One,” but the actor is still finding a rather cool (and hilarious) way to tribute his roots.

On Wednesday night’s edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Ford (who is currently in the midst of a promotional tour for his new movie “Cowboys and Aliens”) took part in a rather funny spoof directed by Jon Favreau. The story? While you can see it below, let’s just say that it revolves around Ford’s attempts to do away with Chewbacca, who seems desperate to have some more attention even though Harrison himself has moved on.

“Cowboys and Aliens” hits theaters on Friday, and as Harrison points out it features an all-star cast that includes the likes of Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. (Did we mention that there are also cowboys — and aliens?)
