Kate Gosselin confirms earlier time slot for ‘Kate Plus 8’s’ TLC return

When “Kate Plus 8” comes back on TLC after a long absence August 8, it is going to do so at an earlier time slot than where it was earlier in the summer.

As a part of one of her lengthy Twitter Q&A sessions, Kate confirmed that her show would be returning at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time — a full hour earlier than its previous time-slot. As for why this switch occurred, it may have something to do with a number of families complaining online that the late start time for the show was not convenient for their work schedules, and that they were also no longer able to watch the show with their own children (who are typically getting ready for bed around that time).

While we do not know the content for every episode moving forward, there will be at least a sizable chunk of time (possibly multiple episodes) themed around the Gosselin family’s recent trip to Yellowstone National Park. (Kate has said that it was one of the most “challenging” weeks of her life when it came to her organizational skills.)

Do you think this earlier start time is the right move for Kate?
