Even though we are only a few episode into “Pretty Little Liars” season 3, it’s already fair to say that the handful of episodes airing this summer are going to go out with a bang.
In a new post on Twitter, showrunner Marlene King did not mince words when doing her best to hype up the episode by sharing the rather simple message about the hour:
“Summer finale = mind blowing. Just sayin.”
Is it “mind blowing” in the sense of finding out another member of the “A Team”? Possibly, but if nothing else King is saying (at least per another response that she gave to a fan) that this will be the scariest finale that we have seen yet — and this is for a show where Mona tried to run over Hanna with a car earlier this year.
Let’s just hope that this finale will ultimately end up drawing a better reaction than what happened with Mona’s “A” reveal in March. The general assumption by many was that King and the other producers were going to change things up when compared to the Sara Shepard books, but they didn’t in order to keep that element of the show truthful to its source material. King also received some negative feedback over her decision to kill off Bianca Lawson’s character of Maya, and many fans even mailed pens to her containing messages of protest.
What do you want to see happen by the end of this summer season, and do you think the “scary” part of the episode is going to come courtesy of an “A Team” reveal?. To check out some sneak peeks from Tuesday night’s new episode, head on over to this link.
