Demi Lovato has spent the past few days in Miami recording with Timbaland, but also took the time out to spend some time chatting with the Mack at Nite radio show earlier this week about everything from her music, her journey, and some of her influences.
When it comes to people she personally looks up to, the former “Sonny with a Chance” actress explained that the women she looks up to are those who choose to use their talent for more than just producing their art:
“There are people like Rosario Dawson and Eva Longoria and, not only are they just some of the sweetest woman you’ll ever meet, but they’re actually doing things, charitable things … But also Angelina Jolie, too, so I look up to people like that that use their voice and their talents for the greater [good].”
One week after her new song “Skyscraper” debuted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, this week it dropped back down to #51 thanks to some of the digital sales dying off. The song is currently building in airplay, so we do expect to jump back up the charts at some point in the future.
Do you predict that more good things are going to be coming up when it comes to Demi and this single?
