‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ results preview: Will Terra Jole, Jane Kramer, or someone else be eliminated?

Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” will be inching closer to the finale with another elimination, and this is one that seems on paper to be fairly predictable between two different performers: Terra Jole and Jana Kramer.

Why these two? Some of that has to do with scores, which on average are lower than James Hinchcliffe, Calvin Johnson, and Laurie Hernandez. There is an argument to make here that Kramer performed better than either of the guys this past week, but she’s also been closer to being eliminated on several different occasions (or at least that is what the show’s tried to present over the course of the last couple of results shows). She’s also probably coming into this with a smaller fan base than some other performers who are remaining.

As for Jole, we just haven’t seen the same momentum there as some other people in the competition, but she is still dangerous due to the inspirational-story angle.

If there is one person out of the big three we’ve mentioned who could be in some danger tonight, it’s Hinchcliffe. While we do think he’s won a ton of people over since the start of the season, and he’s extremely popular in certain parts of the country where racing is a big sport, there were many beforehand (us included) who had no idea who he was. Calvin Johnson in our mind has a ton of support from NFL fans, but we’re not sure if this is like Hines Ward, given how passionate Steeler Nation can be. You don’t always here the same thing about fans of the Detroit Lions.

We’ll see what happens tonight, but no matter who is eliminated, they can do so knowing that they really killed it in most of their routines.
