Josh Groban plays Emma Stone’s bad-boy boyfriend in the new film ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ making the leap from singing to acting.
Groban’s film debut came with a side of romance and during one of his scenes with Stone the director suggested that they end it with a kiss.
Josh had this to say about his first on screen kiss;
“After one of our scenes, the directors said, ‘This is feeling a little goofy. Let’s try this with a kiss at the end.”And I thought, ‘Holy [expletive] I’ve never kissed on-camera before. What do I have to do? I didn’t take that class in college.’ “
Groban said he was really lucky that his first smooch was with Stone because she is a “total pro.” Josh recalled the kiss, saying;
“She pulls out her lip gloss and says, ‘It’s cherry. That cool with you?’ That kiss shall forever be my deer in Stand by Me,” he says. “It’s my moment alone. No one but me will ever be able to treasure it.”
The kiss between Stone and Groban never actually made it into the film, but maybe it will pop up as a deleted scene on the DVD?
