Caroline is a very strong character.. probably she has the best character development on the show and she is my favorite character and i love her but she also a person who wants to be loved by someone who she really wants.. it doesn’t make you less strong to want love .. it’s so human.. from the pilot and till now we can see her ow much she wanted to be the one.. and all the development she has we can see how much she cares about Stefan and her girls..she is very human and a wedding with Stefan is her happy ending.. she deserves it :)

It’s the move that makes the most sense for where the show is at creatively. To me, the most important thing is that they tell the story most organic way possible and Caroline as a character absolutely deserves happiness.
